Buzău County School Inspectorate is committed to making its website isjbuzau.ro accessible, in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance no. 112/2018 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://isjbuzau.ro.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with standard EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.1, level AA, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
- Some of the published PDF documents (especially scanned ones) have no recognised text and cannot be read by screen readers.
- Some older images do not have descriptive alternative text.
- Some tables in older documents and articles do not have correctly marked headers.
- Most articles and documents are published in Romanian only; only the interface, menus and fixed pages are available in English.
For the documents above, the information can be obtained in an accessible format on request, using the contact details below.
What we do for accessibility
- The website has a “Skip to content” link, keyboard navigation and menus that can be used without a mouse.
- The accessibility button (bottom right corner) allows larger text, high contrast, highlighted links and an easy-to-read font.
- New documents are published, as far as possible, as text-based PDFs rather than scans.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 5 November 2026, through a self-assessment carried out by Buzău County School Inspectorate. It is reviewed annually and within 3 days of identifying an accessibility problem.
Initial assessment (Art. 4 of GEO no. 112/2018)
The initial assessment showed that fully adapting the scanned PDF documents published before 2026 would impose a disproportionate burden (reworking several thousand documents). For these, the alternative above is offered (accessible format on request). New documents are published in an accessible format.
